Chanté Moore is an American award-winning R&B/Soul singer and songwriter, born on February 17, 1967, in San Francisco, California. She is the daughter of a preacher and gospel musician, as well as a gospel singer. Chanté was formerly married to an actor from 1997 to 2000 and to an R&B singer from 2002 to 2011.
