October Cherries was a pioneering music group from Singapore and Malaysia during the late 1960s and early 1970s. Originally known as The Surfers, they later rebranded as October Cherries and also performed under the name Jade & Pepper. The band is credited with around 20 albums and was known for their innovative approach to music. In the late 1960s, they established their own record label, further solidifying their influence in the local music scene.
