Alexis Le-Tan has made a name for himself as one of the music industry's most intricate, creative minds and hardworking people. He emerged from the warm ashes of Goa, UK Rave parties, and the transient Naughties. He is a master craftsman of the off-beat, a purveyor and decorated champion of the slo-mo sound—caustic, camp, and always ready to unsettle. By day, he manages a stylish Artists’ management company in Paris. For 30 years, he has worked in different realms to weave a distinctive sonic tapestry, blending all things slow, gently kissed with trance and uncompromising originality. Consistently dedicated to collecting, editing, and compiling, Alexis has produced sought-after edits and re-works for labels like Bahnsteig 23, Crowdspacer, Les Edits du Golem, Future Times, and Black Disco, to name a few. His Full Circle project, alongside Tigersushi and Crowdspacer founder Joakim, has tied together all his influential threads. Re-contextualizing older sounds for the present and beyond, they launched Full Circle Released, a label dedicated to this bespoke project. Le-Tan also launched Oddity Radio, an online hub that brings together the sounds, influences, and playlists of the finest niche electronic labels in the business. As a DJ, he is an elusive gem not confined to the dancefloor, with years of envelope-pushing mixes for the likes of Lovefingers, Noise In My Head, Test Pressing, If-Only, Why People Dance, and pin-sharp cassettes for Good Morning Tapes. Now in its sixth year, his cult radio show, The Other Side on LYL, continues to thrive. His work as a club DJ is mature and sublime, a selector happiest playing in the most intimate of venues, crafting the party energy with his diverse programming that resonates with local crowds all around the globe.
