David G. Balasch

One of Spain’s most established DJs, David G. Balasch has spent the last two and a half decades gracing the country’s most (in)famous venues and festivals. After spending some time in London & Valencia, he settled in Madrid and founded one of the city’s most emblematic record stores CDDROME, which he ran for seven years. Creator of the Tower of Meaning, one of the leading Spanish-written dance music blogs, the Catalan-born DJ has collaborated for the past decade with Red Bull Music Academy, Primavera Sound & more. Since 2017, he has co-pilots Passat Continu, Modern Obscure Music's sister label. Mainly devoted to reissuing overlooked music, the label also welcomes new voices from Spain, Portugal, and the UK, such as Telectu & Lino Capra Vaccina.
