Etat Lipsä is the alter ego of Laura Hernández, a visual artist, cultural manager, and event producer active within Bogotá's alternative scene. Her journey as a music curator began with invitations to curate the sound for art events, galleries, and exhibitions that required a specific atmosphere. Captivated by the dark, delicate, and mysterious sounds of analog synthesizers and electronic machines, she has found in minimal synth the essence of her musical exploration. This journey spans genres such as early post-punk, cold wave, dark wave, power electronics, industrial, noise, and avant-garde, with a deep obsession for the underground music scene in Asia. Always in search of obscure, strange, and unsettling sounds—somewhat melancholic yet powerful—that invite a solitary and electric dance. This musical selection is made with synthy love.
