Kyle Molzan
Kyle Molzan is an NYC record store owner, DJ, and filmmaker. An avid listener and henceforth discoverer of the Japanese techno-pop, ambient, and NDW.
His weekly radio show on Kpiss.fm and East Village Radio is dedicated to Haco, whose After Dinner album, Paradise of Replica, is his namesake and ode to joy. His store, Paradise of Replica, would almost look like a blog from 2004, with its curatorial mission being the upheaval and importing odd gems.
Kyle has spent endless time exploring and looking for anything to make us feel something "new" by uncovering regions and sifting through entire countries' discographies. He happily believes eccentricity is at stake for good and for bad.
His music life outside the store was established by playing parties in NY with Disco Tehran and his own Replica of Paradise nights at numerous venues. Kyle also co-directed a feature film, For The Plasma, which has a synthesized bath of sounds from Keiichi Suzuki of Moonriders fame.
