Maft Sai

Maft Sai is a Bangkok-based DJ, producer, musician, label founder, record store owner & the man behind Zudrangma Records. 20+ years of DJing and record collecting led him across Southeast Asia, Africa, and the Middle East. Sai’s wide selection seamlessly intertwines the culture of his motherland with irresistible grooves. Crossing national borders, he’s spread the Thai sound to stages as esteemed as the Glastonbury Festival & radios as influential as BBC 6 and NTS. Beyond his DJ undertakings, Sai runs the labels Paradise Bangkok & Eastern Connection, re-issuing rare music from the far corners of Asia. He’s also co-curated several collections of Thai music for Andy Votel‘s Finders Keepers label. Back home, he plays live music with The Paradise Bangkok Molam International Band and runs Studio Lam – a performance space, bar, and record label that has become home to the city’s creative scene.
