Remembering: Tim Cronin
Tim Cronin was an American musician, record store manager, and an avid music collector.
He was known as a founding member of the influential stoner rock band Monster Magnet, formed in 1989. During the band's formative years, Cronin contributed on vocals, bass, and drums. They released two demo cassettes: “Forget About Life, I'm High on Dope”, and “I'm Stoned, What Ya Gonna Do About It?”. Their first official release was the single "Lizard Johnny/Freakshop USA" on Circuit Records.
Beyond his musical endeavours, Cronin has been the store manager at the independent record store Jack's Music Shoppe in Red Band, New Jersey, for over 30 years.
