Sonido Confirmación
Sonido Confirmation began activities in 2010 with podcast-style recordings in the vicinity of the Cosmopolita neighborhood in Azcapotzalco, north of Mexico City. A year later, in July 2011, the project was officially presented with a showcase of video, painting, and sound system.
Since then, Sound Confirmation has performed multiple shows in Mexico and countries like Colombia and Chile. They have also organized three expo-parties and several internet radio cycles with Crater Invertido. They have presented their work in prominent museums such as the Jumex Museum, the Mexico City Museum, the Casa del Lago, the Chopo Museum, the Museum of Friendly Cultures, and the Tamayo Museum, among others. They even participated in the 50th edition of the Cervantino International Festival in Guanajuato.
Additionally, Sound Confirmation has been part of the team at Aire Libre 105.3 FM, where they produced, hosted, and programmed music for the shows Cumbiódromo and Radio Barrio. In the video field, they have produced two reports commissioned by the Le Guess Who? music festival in Utrecht, Netherlands. Recently, in 2024, they were commissioned for the curation of the BoilerRoom platform in its Sonideros edition, held in Mexico City.
