Trevor Jackson has been active within the cutting edge of audio & visual culture for over three decades. The London based Creative Director, Designer, Moving-Image maker & Producer’s work has been exhibited at the ICA, Baltic, Guggenheim and Barbican, as well as on countless seminal record covers.
With its emphasis on visual as much as musical artistry and innovation, Jackson’s iconic Output Recordings label (1996-2006), original home to Four Tet & LCD Soundsystem as well as many other highly influential artists and bands set a new aesthetic standard prompting critics to declare it that decade’s equivalent to the legendary Factory records.
With a forward-thinking approach driven by an enduring commitment to promote innovation and new talent, as well as extensive knowledge and respect for musical history and its cultural roots, Jackson's ability to communicate with the dancefloor, whether it be in large clubs like Berghain (Berlin) The Rex (Paris) Fabric (London), Warehouse Project (Manchester) numerous international festivals (Berlin Atonal, Sonar, Glastonbury) High profile music, fashion & Art events (Kraftwerk at the Tate Modern, Serpentine Summer party, V&A, Art Basel, LACMA) or smaller underground parties across the globe, as well as his regular NTS radio shows, keep him one of London's most notable and well respected DJs.
