Διάφανα Κρίνα (Diafana Krina) are a seminal Greek rock band formed in 1990 in Athens, known for fusing atmospheric post-punk and alternative rock with deeply poetic, introspective lyrics. Their songs—set to Greek poetry, often written by bassist and lyricist Thanos Anestopoulos—explore themes of emotion, time, and existential reflection. Over their career, they released several acclaimed albums that shaped the Greek alternative music scene. After disbanding in 2009 and briefly reuniting in 2017, their legacy endures as one of Greece’s most influential and evocative musical voices.
