Formed in Athens in 1985 by Dinos Sadikis and Dimos Zamanos, Εν Πλώ (En Plo) emerged as a seminal force in the Greek post-punk scene. Their self-titled 1989 album, released by Penguin, showcased a distinctive blend of rock infused with traditional and rebetiko influences, characterized by intense guitars and Sadikis's passionate vocals. Despite their brief existence, Εν Πλώ's innovative sound left an indelible mark on Greek rock music. Following the band's dissolution, Sadikis pursued a solo career, releasing two albums, while other members formed the group Επόμενη Κίνηση.
