**Bio: 100 Hz** 100 Hz is a musical group that has been active since 1989, originally formed by Lee Renacre, James Chapman, and Doran Walker. They began their journey by selling white labels from the back of their car. Their early releases, including "Low Frequency Overload" and "Catching Spyders," were launched on Optimism Records and achieved notable success, even reaching the national music charts with a house track. The group's musical style leans towards the funkier side of House and Techno, characterized by sinister vocals and unconventional beat patterns. Over the years, 100 Hz has released numerous records through esteemed labels from the 90s, such as Pacific Records, Rumore Records, Eukahouse, and Oblong Records, with many tracks featured in CD compilations and mixes globally. They also established their own label, Format Records, in the mid-90s, which produced several noteworthy releases. 100 Hz has a rich history of live performances at various venues, ranging from underground clubs and house parties to major events like Raindance, the End club in London, and the Exit festival in Serbia. They have consistently received positive reviews in magazines and have remained at the forefront of emerging musical styles.
