100 Proof Aged in Soul was a funk-soul group formed in 1969 in Detroit, Michigan. The group was put together by a songwriting team and signed to a record label, releasing two albums during their career. Their biggest hit, "Somebody’s Been Sleeping," sold over one million copies and achieved gold status. The group disbanded in 1973, although the name was later reused for a different lineup of musicians in 1977. The original lineup from 1969 to 1971 included Eddie Holiday (also known as Eddie Anderson) on vocals, Steve Mancha (Clyde Wilson) as lead vocals, Joe Stubbs on lead vocals, and Herschel Hunter. From 1971 to 1973, the lineup changed to include Ron Bykowski on guitar, Dave Case and Donnell "Doni" Hagen on drums and percussion, Don Hatcher on bass, and Steve Mancha (Clyde Wilson) as lead vocals.
