**Bio:** 100Hz is a musical project that originated in 1989, formed by Lee Renacre, James Chapman, and Doran Walker. Initially selling white labels from the back of their car, they gained recognition with their early releases, "Low Frequency Overload" and "Catching Spyders," on Optimism Records, which achieved notable success in national music charts with their house tracks. Their sound is characterized by a funky blend of House and Techno, featuring sinister vocals and unconventional beat patterns. Over the years, 100Hz has released music through several prominent labels from the 90s, including Pacific Records, Rumore Records, Eukahouse, and Oblong Records, with many tracks included in CD compilations and mixes worldwide. They also established their own label, Format Records, which produced a number of noteworthy releases. 100Hz boasts a rich history of live performances, ranging from underground clubs and house parties to renowned events like Raindance, the End club in London, and the Exit festival in Serbia. Their work has consistently received positive reviews in music magazines, and they have remained at the forefront of evolving musical styles. Recently, they collaborated with Patrick Pulsinger for a Belgium-based label, Hi Phen, and their music is frequently featured at Barcelona's Sonar festival, played by artists such as Richie Hawtin and Jeff Mills.
