100% Pure Poison was a group of American military men stationed in Germany during the early 1970s. Known for their high-quality pre-disco soul music, they embodied a Chicago or Detroit urban feel. Despite their notable sound, they never achieved prominence in the United States. However, their contributions continue to resonate more vividly in Europe. They are recognized as a one-album jazz-funk band.
