2 By Bukowski is a post-rock band from Thessaloniki, Greece, formed in 1997. The members currently reside in Berlin, London, and Athens. The band began recording songs live in Nik’s childhood bedroom and sent them to labels, leading to their first release, a split 7" single with Lazarus Clamp, in 1999 on Jonathon Whiskey, which was named 'Record of the Month' by Record Collector magazine. This was followed by several singles, compilation contributions, and the 2000 12" EP “He Knows That In The Shadows Someone Is Making The Elements Bleed” on Liquefaction Empire. Their debut album, “What A Long Strange Journey This Has Been,” was released in 2001 by the Thessaloniki label Poeta Negra, marking their transition to recording studios. The 2003 album “Drink From My Bastard Grail” featured “Chopperfuck,” their first non-instrumental track with vocals by Karine Charff. Their third album, “Yzordderex,” was released in 2005. The band broke up a couple of years later. In the mid '10s, the group reformed. In 2017, they released the single "Hot Summer," followed by "Follow You Home" the next year, both through the Greek label Inner Ear. In November 2020, they released their first album in 15 years, titled "Her Kind Fight Everything."
