**Bio: 3 Speed** 3 Speed is a synth rock band formed in Boston, Massachusetts, USA. They gained prominence for their contributions to the 1985 soundtrack of the movie *Once Bitten*, including the title track. The band was discovered when their manager sent a demo tape to a studio in Los Angeles without the members' knowledge. An executive, while listening to their demo, caught the attention of Samuel Goldwyn, Jr., who requested the band to be on a plane the following weekend. In addition to "Once Bitten," another track titled "Stop Talking About Us" was featured on the soundtrack, although it was a previously recorded demo and not specifically written for the film. Following the release of the *Once Bitten* soundtrack, 3 Speed experienced significant success, even opening for Pat Benatar at one point. However, MCA Records did not pursue a full-length LP from the band, instead commissioning them to write songs for other soundtracks, including those for *Rad* and *Savage Streets*. Linda Chase, the band's vocalist, continues to write and perform music while working in recording studios.
