**Bio:** Ξεχασμένη Προφητεία (Forgotten Prophecy / Ksehasmeni Profitia) was a hardcore punk band formed in 1989 in Athens, Greece, emerging from the remnants of Haotiki Apili. The original line-up consisted of Alekos Sismanidis on vocals, a guitarist and vocalist with a history in bands like Αδιέξοδο, Ναυτία, and Χαοτική Απειλή, Giannis "Amerikanos" on guitar, Angelo Bartzis on bass, and George Satlanis on drums. After Giannis left, the band continued as a four-piece and recorded a split LP with the Dutch band Mushroom Attack, originally intended to be shared with the Italian band Capite Damnare. An unofficial tape featuring the LP material along with two studio out-takes was released before the band disbanded in 1990. Throughout their brief existence, Ξεχασμένη Προφητεία was actively involved in the Athens squat scene. In 2013, Alekos, George, and Dinos, with the assistance of Thanos, re-recorded their song "Το Μεγάλο Σπίτι (1000 Bottles version)" as a tribute to the evicted Villa Amalias squat.
