3rd Bass was a hip-hop group formed in 1987 in Queens, NY, and disbanded in 1992. The group released two full-length albums: "The Cactus Album" in 1989 and "Derelicts Of Dialect" in 1991, along with several memorable singles. They are known for featuring early appearances by future legends, including one who later became known as the great [insert name] on the track "The Gas Face" in 1989, and another on MC Serch's song "Back To The Grill" in 1992.
