400 Blows is a British post-punk electro/industrial funk band that originated in South London in the early 1980s. The band was founded by Andrew Edward Beer and Robert Taylor, both of whom were previously members of Concrete. Alexander Scott Fraser, who contributed to the singles "Beat The Devil" and "Return Of The Dog," was later replaced by Tony Thorpe. The lineup of Beer, Thorpe, and Taylor recorded a John Peel session in February 1984.
