60 Channels is an electronic and experimental project created by The Angel in 1998. Originally from Brooklyn, The Angel has lived in London before moving to Los Angeles. This project allowed her to explore a diverse sound, incorporating elements of drum 'n bass, dub, hip hop, and alternative flavors into her production. To complement this musical variety, she collaborated with an eclectic group of vocalists, including Angie Hart (Frente!), Monday Michiru, Navigator (The Freestylers, Asian Dub Foundation), DJ Collage, Rain Phoenix, Karen Grant, and Tre Hardson (Slimkid3 of The Pharcyde), as well as Cokni O'Dire. Each of these vocalists brings a strong identity from their individual genres, providing a platform for further artistic expression within the 60 Channels project.
