702, pronounced "Seven-Oh-Two," is an American girl group from Las Vegas, Nevada, named after the area code of their hometown. Originally a quartet, the group consisted of identical twins Irish and Orish Grinstead, LeMisha, and their cousin Amelia Cruz. In 1994, Amelia and Orish left the group and were replaced by Kameelah Williams. Kameelah departed in 2001 to pursue a solo career and was briefly replaced by Cree Lamore until her return in 2003. Kameelah left again, and Orish rejoined the group. Tragically, Orish Grinstead passed away on April 20, 2008, at the age of 27 due to kidney failure, and Irish Grinstead died on September 16, 2023, at the age of 43 from an undisclosed illness.
