7Seconds is a punk band originally from Reno, Nevada, formed in 1980 by vocalist (and occasional guitarist) and his brother, bassist, along with original drummer, who was later replaced by another drummer. In 1983, drummer joined the band, and this trio has formed the core of 7Seconds ever since. Initially, the band played hardcore punk but has evolved its sound over the years to include elements of emo-core, alternative rock, and pop-punk. On March 20, 2018, 7Seconds announced their breakup via their official Facebook page; however, they reunited in 2022.
