9 Lazy 9 is an Italian music duo consisting of Keir John Fraser and Giacomo Braddellini, who joined Ninja Tune in the early 1990s. They gained recognition with their debut album "Paradise Blown," which showcases a unique sound influenced by the Mediterranean. Based in Rome, they have collaborated with notable Italian musicians for their latest album, "Sweet Jones," recorded in the Umbrian Hills near Orvieto. The album features contributions from Gianluca Petrella on trombone, Mishael Levron on guitar, Manu Bandettini on flute, and Adriano Tirelli on bassoon, resulting in one of the freshest records to emerge from Italy in recent years.
