A.C. Marias was a British alternative duo formed in 1980, consisting of Angela Conway (vocals, lyrics) and Bruce Gilbert (guitar, production). The duo is associated with the post-punk band Wire, as Gilbert was their guitarist. A.C. Marias released one single, "Drop" b/w "So," before becoming inactive. They reactivated in 1986, releasing three additional singles and the full-length LP "One Of Our Girls Has Gone Missing" in 1989. The group disbanded in 1990, after which Conway pursued a career as a music video director.
