A Victim Of Society is a lo-fi project formed in 2011 in Athens, Greece, by Vagelis Makris (vocals, guitar) and Fotis Ntouskas (guitar). They debuted with a DIY limited edition 6-track cassette, which sold out with only 120 copies released. In the same year, they released a 7" EP through Sweet Mistake Productions - Fractal Press and contributed the track “You’re Gonna Hate Me” to the compilation “Reverb Conspiracy vol. 1," released by Fuzz Club Records in collaboration with the Austin Psych Festival. In 2013, they opened for notable bands such as The Black Angels, Moon Duo, Dirty Beaches, and Disappears. Their debut album, “Distractions,” was released via Inner Ear in April 2014. In 2015, Pantelis Karasevdas (drums) joined the band, and their second album, “FREAKTOWN,” is currently available through Inner Ear Records and The Fuzz Club Records’ web store.
