**Bio: A Wild Uncertainty** A Wild Uncertainty was a Mod band that recorded a one-off single for Shel Talmy’s Planet label. Talmy, known for his production work with the Kinks and the Who, used the latter as a model for several bands. The Wild Uncertainty's sole release was a rendition of "Man With Money," an Everly Brothers song popular among Mods and also performed by the Who in their early days. The single reached the lower end of the Top 40, largely due to the efforts of Eddie’s Dad, his Uncle, and other relatives who bought up copies. The band had the opportunity to tour with the Creation. After Steve Winwood left the Spencer Davis Group in 1967, seventeen-year-old Eddie Hardin was adopted into the group, seemingly destined to fill the void and create a new image for the band. However, disagreements arose, leading to Eddie's departure along with drummer Peter York.
