Abelardo Carbonó was a Colombian guitarist, singer, and composer born in 1948 in Ciénaga. He moved to Barranquilla in 1959 and initially became a police cadet. In the 1980s, he formed the core of a band with his brothers, who played bass and lead guitar. Abelardo Carbonó passed away on November 18, 2021.
