Abelardo Carbono was a Colombian guitarist, singer, and composer born in 1948 in Ciénaga. He moved to Barranquilla in 1959 and initially became a police cadet. In the 1980s, he formed the core of a band with his brothers, one playing bass and the other on lead guitar. He passed away on November 18, 2021.
