A.C. Marias was a British alternative duo formed in 1980, consisting of Angela Conway (vocals, lyrics) and Bruce Gilbert (guitar, production). They are associated with the post-punk band Wire, as Gilbert was the band's guitarist. The duo released their first single, "Drop" b/w "So," before becoming inactive. They reactivated in 1986, releasing three more singles and the full-length LP "One Of Our Girls Has Gone Missing" in 1989. Conway disbanded the group in 1990 and subsequently pursued a career as a music video director.
