Ace Of Cups is an American rock band that was formed in San Francisco in 1967. The band disbanded in 1972 and is noted for being one of the first all-female rock bands. The original line-up included Mary Gannon on bass, Marilyn/Marla Hunt on organ and piano, Denise Kaufman (also known as Denise Jewkes) on guitar and harmonica, Mary Ellen Simpson on lead guitar, and Diane Vitalich (also known as Diane Hursh) on drums. Other members who contributed to the band include Joe Allegra, Jerry Granelli, Noel Jewkes, and Lolly Lewis.
