Iulian Cuculea, known by his stage name Ada Kaleh, is a Bucharest-based musician, composer, and cultural producer recognized for his contributions to the electronic music scene. Ada Kaleh describes his sound as Quantum Techno, characterized by hypnotic rhythms, psychedelic textures, and a spiritual resonance influenced by his deep engagement with Spiritual Jazz, African music, and experimental sound. His latest record, "Unravelling," features original vocals by the legendary Fela Kuti and a saxophone performance by Eric Leeds, a longtime collaborator of Prince. Ada Kaleh's work has garnered international attention, being broadcast on BBC Radio 1, BBC Radio 6 Music, and various radio networks across Europe, Asia, and the Americas. As a prominent figure in Romania's electronic music landscape, Ada Kaleh has performed at renowned clubs, venues, and niche festivals around the world, including Tresor Berlin, Rex Club Paris, and Output New York.
