**A.E. Bizottság Bio** A.E. Bizottság, originally known as Bizottság (“The Committee”), is an underground art-rock band formed in 1980 in Szentendre, Hungary. The group, which describes its genre as "disaster music," was founded by members primarily from the visual arts community of the Vajda Lajos Studio. The original lineup included László feLugossy (vocals), András Wahorn (organ, saxophone, vocals), István ef Zámbó (bass guitar, vocals), Erzsébet “Kokó” Kukta (vocals), István “Joni” Szulovszky (guitar), Mária Bán (drums), and Sándor Bernáthy (guitar). In the early 1980s, encouraged by a friend, they entered a talent contest organized by the rock band Karthago, where they planned to showcase their unconventional style. Although they only reached the preliminary round, they gained recognition and were invited to perform at a major concert featuring prominent Hungarian bands before a large audience. A.E.
