The African Brothers Band, later known as the African Brothers International Band in 1973, was a Ghanaian band and concert party formed in 1963. The band was led by Patrick Kwame Ampadu, also known as Nana Kwame Ampadu I or Paa Steele, who contributed as a vocalist and guitarist. Other notable members included Snr. Eddie Donkor, Rover Amo Kofi Ampadu, Osenkafo Isaac Kwasi Anin, Yaw Asante, and S. Kwadwo Ofori, among others. The lineup featured a variety of musicians playing instruments such as guitar, bass guitar, drums, keyboards, and percussion, with members like Kwabena Joe Opoku Appiah, Kofi Oppong Kyekyeku, and Mum Bea contributing vocals. The band had a rich and diverse membership throughout its existence, showcasing a blend of talents in the Ghanaian music scene.
