Real Name was a new wave band from the UK that emerged in the 1980s. They released a single record in 1986, which included a 12" and 7" version featuring the tracks "Fields" on the A side and "Hollow Hills" on the B side. This release was on the Belgian label Operation Afterglow. Both songs were written by Richard Lowe, who is noted to have possibly been the first manager of the band Catatonia.
