Aggregation was a 1970s soul group hailing from Huntsville, Alabama, formed by members Ron Carter, Larry "Skip" Glover, Arthur Wade, Eddie Scott, Edmond White, and Michael Cornelius, who originated from the Alabama A&M College Marching Band. The band recorded their only two original tracks, "A Child Is Born" and "Can You Feel It," at Charles "Toot" Snoddy's Acoustic Loop Sound Lab in 1970. They transitioned from performing at fraternity parties to warming up crowds for notable acts like Archie Bell and the Isley Brothers. Despite ambitions to secure a record deal with Stax, their plans were thwarted when Al Bell remarked that they "sounded too much like the Bar-Kays." Aggregation remained active until 1974, when various challenges such as family commitments and financial issues led to their disbandment.
