Aksel Friberg and Aino Collmar, known for their collaborative musical project, met at Stockholm University in 2018 and quickly discovered their shared passion for music. Their journey began when Aino shared some old recordings with Aksel, leading to their first release, a two-track EP titled "Fading Pictures," on Public Possession. Following positive reviews and the excitement of working together, they began writing new songs for a full-length album. Aino's longing vocals, combined with classic 80s-style synths and drum machines, create a unique, melancholic version of Italo Pop, deeply rooted in the cultural scene of Stockholm. The duo produces their music at Sloping Ground Studio in the suburban Kärrtorp area, emphasizing a true partnership in their creative process.
