Al Ferrier was a celebrated rockabilly, country, and gospel singer and guitarist, known as the "King of Louisiana Rockabilly." He was born on August 19, 1935, in Montgomery, Louisiana, and passed away on January 6, 2015, in Natchitoches, Louisiana. Al came from a musical family, with two older brothers who were also musicians: Bryan, who played electric lead guitar, and Warren, who played the fiddle and double bass.
