Al Pagoda is a composer originally from Valencia, Spain, who moved to Berlin in 2015. He began his career creating movie soundtracks and spent years experimenting with new sounds and recording techniques. In 2018, a colleague invited him to perform at Loophole, a small club in Neukölln, Berlin, where he showcased his free-form experimentation. This performance led to the rapid development of his debut mini album, "Lucky Veil," released on October 30th via Bigamo Musik. The album features seven songs characterized by luminous synth melodies that evoke strong, iconic memories. Al Pagoda’s cinematic approach is evident in his music, with songs that unfold like stories leading to profound revelations. "Lucky Veil" was crafted during a winter in Berlin, in a room without windows, using short snippets recorded on his phone over the years.
