Al Verlane is a Belgian drummer, vocalist, orchestra leader, and the owner of a dance venue called Villa Montebello located in Kontich, near Antwerp. He founded a music label and participated in the 1959 Eurosong contest with the song "In D'Eenzaamheid." Al is the grandfather of two individuals due to his daughter Linda's marriage, and he is also the grand uncle of three others born in 1970, 1972, and 1975.
