Alan Hawkshaw was a British pianist, composer, and producer born on 27 March 1937 in Leeds, West Yorkshire, U.K. He passed away on 16 October 2021. Hawkshaw was known for composing themes for movies and TV programs and had extensive session work for various artists. He played a key role in the disco scene with his group and contributed to notable works with other artists. He was also the father of a dance vocalist.
