Alan Kaufman is an American keyboardist, percussionist, and producer from Charlotte, North Carolina. He holds both a B.S. and M.S. Degree in Percussion from New York State University at Potsdam. Throughout his career, Alan has been a performer, arranger, producer, educator, and composer of commercial jingles, albums, and soundtracks. He has produced albums and arranged music for notable acts such as The Buddy Rich Band, The Glenn Miller Orchestra, Dan Truhitte from "The Sound of Music," and The Charlotte Symphony Orchestra, among others. Alan has performed with a diverse range of artists, including Luciano Pavarotti, Johnny Cash, Bernadette Peters, Bobby Vinton, and Clay Aiken. Since 1993, he has also served as the Band Director for the Mecklenburg Area Catholic Schools.
