Alberto Radius was an Italian guitarist and singer, born in Rome on June 1, 1942. His musical career began in the late 1950s with the band White Booster. He later played with an orchestra for two years before joining a group in 1964, where he replaced a member in a band that was soon renamed as PFM (Premiata Forneria Marconi), allowing him to develop his unique guitar playing style. In 1969, he formed a new group with two other musicians. The band debuted on a new label, performing Lucio Battisti's song "Questo Folle Sentimento," which reached number 5 on the Italian charts in 1970. Alberto Radius passed away in San Colombano al Lambro, in Greater Milan, on February 16, 2023.
