Alexander Borodin was a Russian chemist and romantic composer, born in St. Petersburg on October 31, 1833. He passed away on February 17, 1887. Borodin is best known for his opera "Prince Igor," which remained unfinished at the time of his death. Additionally, he played a significant role in founding the St. Petersburg School of Medicine for Women.
