Alexander Patton is an R&B singer from Long Beach, California, who began his career under a notable label. He collaborated with a local record producer, who later became a Hollywood actor, on his single "Make The Best of What You Got" in 1965. During a session at Capitol Records, three songs were recorded: "No More Dreams," "A ‘Lil Lovin Sometimes," and "True Love." In 2004, a Northern Soul DJ discovered Alex, leading to a legendary performance at Soultrip USA. This newfound recognition brought him to the UK, where he gained a dedicated fan base. Alongside his music career, Alex also worked as a boxing promoter and had a small role in a film.
