Alfi Kabiljo was a Croatian composer, conductor, arranger, and producer, born on December 22, 1935, in Zagreb, and passed away on April 1, 2025, in the same city. He was known as an internationally recognized composer with a diverse range of musical activities. Kabiljo wrote music for theatre and film productions, including the musical "Jalta, Jalta" in 1971, as well as pop music, chansons, orchestral, chamber, and solo works. He composed scores for approximately 40 feature films and around 100 television episodes. Kabiljo completed his secondary music education in Zagreb and studied composition under the renowned Belgian composer Roger Samy in Paris. After graduating in architecture from Zagreb, he dedicated his life to music. Throughout his career, he received numerous national and international awards for his contributions to music. He served as the president of an unspecified organization from 1992 to 1994. Additionally, he composed library music under various names, including Alfons "Alfi" Kabiljo, Albert Jacob, Jacob Albert, and Richard Bellamy.
