Alfredo de la Fé is a Cuban-born violinist, known for his classical training as a graduate of the Juilliard School. He earned the nickname "El violín de la salsa" for his innovative approach to incorporating the violin into salsa music. Based in New York, he also lived in Colombia from approximately 1983 to 1999. Born in Havana on February 7, 1954, he has collaborated with various artists throughout his career.
