Alio Die, the stage name of Stefano Musso, is an ambient-electronic musician from Milan, Italy. He began his musical journey in 1989, creating evocative acoustic sounds that are intricately manipulated and tendered electronically. His work is known for building intimate soundscapes that reflect the mystery and majesty of life and nature. Alio Die gained international acclaim with his 1992 release, "Under an Holy Ritual," on Projekt. Since then, he has released over 20 CDs and collaborated with notable artists including Robert Rich, Vidna Obmana, Mathias Grassow, Nick Parkin, Yannick Dauby, Amelia Cuni, Raffaele Serra, Ora, and Antonio Testa.
