At the age of 15, he ran away from home and spent over 30 days on a ship traveling to Rio de Janeiro, where he was discovered by a sailor but managed to strike a deal with the crew by sharing his dreams. He was accompanied by three friends, although they did not continue with him. Alípio was known for his popular hits, including "Vem Me Amar," "Onde Andará Você," and "Garota." He passed away in 1997 in Pará due to stomach complications.
